History & acclaims

OrigoID was founded in September 2009, due to commercialize and sell unique authentication technology to cover obvious needs in the marketplace. The creation of the company was supported by Innovation Norway, The Norwegian Research Council and Oslo Innovation Center.

The founders of OrigoID have won several awards including the best European innovation award 2009 for young enterprises, the FERD- Award for highest international potential 2009. The company has achieved several external validations through the Biowave concept and is the winner of DNBNORs innovation award, Region Østafjells (2010)

In January 2011 the company signed agreements with a new board of directors with extensive industry experience and raised sufficient venture capital to develop of a commercially viable version of the Biowave concept.

OrigoID currently have activities in Norway, Serbia and Germany. The company plans to hire additional staff in the coming years primarily to strengthen the company`s competences regarding technological development and sales/marketing.
